Our Story

C&C Janitorial began serving the Athens/Winterville area 20 years ago as a residential cleaning service that consisted of only one person, Charmaine Broughton. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Charmaine came to Winterville in 1995. Only 4 years later, she decided to embrace the American dream and started her own cleaning business. As time passed, Charmaine’s work ethic and attention to detail earned her a steady stream of referrals from her satisfied customers, which lead to an ever-increasing demand for her services. Now, she employs over 20 full-time employees.

Charmaine steadily grew the business and eventually branched out to take on more commercial cleaning projects with the same result…satisfied customers. C&C Janitorial Services now specializes in all aspects of commercial cleaning, from small offices to large medical facilities, and even the luxury SkySuites at the University of Georgia. Plus, they also tackle post-construction cleaning. Every client gets treated with the same integrity and consistency that Charmaine built her reputation on, and earned C&C Janitorial Service the reputation as a premiere commercial cleaner in the Athens-Clarke/Oconee area.
